The verified X post matters because it preserves the official threat in Araqchi's own words rather than a paraphrase, but it does not prove Ukraine attacked the vessel; Iran supplied that attribution, and no weapon, mission, independent investigation or public chain of evidence appears in the authorized source.

Araqchi made the statement during calls with European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov; Lavrov offered condolences, while a Russian statement said Araqchi thanked authorities in Astrakhan for helping the crew. [1]

The same report said Araqchi discussed diplomatic efforts to reduce tension in the Middle East [1]; threat and diplomacy can occupy one telephone call without becoming a response order, an attack or a new war aim.

The next evidence must identify the vessel, damage, route, cargo and explosion mechanism, then show what supports responsibility; if Iran acts, that action needs its own order, target, effect and casualty record, and until then the completed facts are one attributed attack record, one explicit warning and no publicly established retaliation.
