An improvised explosive device detonated at the Balzi Rossi restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow on Saturday evening, killing three people and injuring at least 21, according to Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee. [1]

An unidentified woman attempted to smuggle the device into the restaurant, where it exploded at the entrance once she was stopped by a security guard.
