The same file places Monday's Black Sea resort strike first, then the Moscow-area count, then Russia's continuing strikes on Ukraine. [1] Sequence matters. This is an exchange of civilian deaths, not a single raid that changed the map.

The paper's Black Sea beach brief holds seven dead including children. Tuesday morning adds five more on the Russian side of the ledger. Five Ukrainians were also killed in Russian strikes the same day. [1]

Moscow-area is a geography the Kremlin will inflate and Kyiv will shrink. Until a mayor, a prosecutor, or a named settlement is published, five around the capital is the claim. Readers who hear "Moscow" as the Kremlin walls will miscount the war.
