[1] The trade projected $30.5 million for the weekend, a drop of about 40 percent from the prior week. Through the weekend, domestic receipts were expected to reach $460 million.

That is a Friday receipt and a projection, not a Sunday actual. Spider-Man: Brand New Day still owned the frame with $43 million Friday from 4,487 theaters. [1] Nolan held second. The Saturday-safe record is the chair, not a lifetime coronation.

Trades will treat the film as a loyal holdover under a record. Family and awards desks will want more. Saturday's completed stage is $8.8 million on a fourth Friday and a projected $30.5 million weekend. The rest waits for a later clock.

Variety also logged the undercard that did not move Nolan. [1] Searchlight's Super Troopers 3 took $1.7 million Friday. Universal's One Night Only took $2.8 million.
