Water Industry Hub updated its live tracker on 8 August 2026. [1] Nine Temporary Use Bans remain in force across England and Wales. None have been lifted. South West Water expanded its ban to its entire supply area at 00:01 Saturday — Devon, Cornwall, parts of Dorset and Somerset, and the Isles of Scilly. Yorkshire Water has confirmed no restrictions.

The paper's Saturday major already recorded that South West Water's Saturday hour was the missing ban. The Hub's contribution is the count. Thames Water's TUB covers about 15 million customers. Southern Water's Hampshire and Isle of Wight ban is still live. Essex & Suffolk Water's 3 August ban is its first since 1997. [1]

Nine company decisions are not a national drought declaration. A postcode checker is not a reservoir percentage. Saturday's completed service record is nine bans in force and a west-country expansion that began at one minute past midnight.

The Hub names the other Saturday-live bans: Thames from 23 July, South East Water across its full area, Anglian, Affinity Central, Cambridge Water, Southern Water in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Welsh Water in west Wales, and Essex and Suffolk. [1] Maximum fine for a breach is £1,000. A live tracker is a service desk, not a national drought decree. Yorkshire still has no restriction.
