Pakistan's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Friday that it had renewed its offer to facilitate direct talks between Washington and Tehran, the fourth such offer since March 20. Iran's response, delivered through its embassy in Islamabad, reiterated that "the Islamic Republic does not negotiate under fire." [1]
The backchannel architecture remains intact. Turkey and Egypt are also positioned as mediators. None have produced a meeting.
