Google cut its top AI plan to $200 and shipped an agent platform the same day Nvidia printed $75 billion in data-center revenue and guided to $91 billion next quarter.

X collapsed I/O Day 2 and Nvidia's print into one tape — the capex ceiling is priced, the system tray is becoming agentic, the spender side and the supplier side now speak the same language.
Two prints landed inside one news cycle and told the same story from opposite sides of the ledger. On Tuesday afternoon at Mountain View, Google cut its top-tier AI Ultra plan from $250 to $200 and introduced a $100 mid-tier, then shipped Antigravity 2.0 as a standalone agent-first development platform and Universal Cart as a shopping-protocol that now includes Amazon. Two hours after the I/O keynote ended Wednesday, Nvidia printed Q1 fiscal 2027 revenue of $81.6 billion, Data Center revenue of $75.2 billion, and a $91 billion Q2 guide. The same day the spender side cut prices to broaden access, the supplier side booked the largest quarterly data-center revenue any chipmaker has ever recorded. [1] [2] [3]
The paper's Tuesday major read I/O Day 1 as the capex print: Alphabet's $180-190 billion 2026 commitment, Wall Street's 140 percent year-to-date repricing, and Spark/Omni/Antigravity as shipping vehicles for a thesis already in the price. Today's two prints make that thesis testable. Google's price cut on the access tier means the company expects to amortize $180-190 billion against a broader paying base. Nvidia's $75.2 billion Data Center quarter means hyperscaler capex translated to chip orders at a 92 percent year-over-year rate — and Nvidia's Q2 guide implies that rate continues. [4] [5]
Day 2 added three receipts the Tuesday standard flagged as separate shipping vehicles. Antigravity 2.0 — the rebuild of Google's agent-development platform — now ships as a standalone desktop application plus an Antigravity CLI with a published SDK. Universal Cart, the shopping-protocol layer, ships on the Universal Commerce Protocol with Amazon as a partner; that pairing alone is the largest open-protocol cooperation between the two companies in a decade. The Android side of the print is the consumer-access stack. Android CLI, Android Bench, and a migration agent that turns React Native or iOS code into Kotlin Android in hours move the platform's developer-acquisition story from copy-paste into agent-assisted. Pichai opened the keynote arguing that Google is now "building every product around Gemini" — but the structural change is not that Gemini is everywhere; it is that the agent harness is now Google-native and the system tray, Android's notification surface and Chrome's tab strip both, can host agents that act. Nvidia's print did the same trick from the supplier side. Revenue $81.6 billion, up 85 percent year-over-year and 20 percent sequentially. Data Center revenue $75.2 billion, up 92 percent year-over-year — and Networking, which Nvidia broke out separately for the first time at this magnitude, came in at $14.8 billion, up 199 percent. GAAP gross margin: 74.9 percent. Operating cash flow: $50.3 billion. That China assumption is the line that matters most for the supplier side. Nvidia took a $4.5 billion inventory charge in Q1 fiscal 2026 when the H20 restrictions arrived. CEO Jensen Huang has guided forward without China since. The company today guided $91 billion for Q2 — and the bulls' read is that any thaw on Chinese H200 procurement is upside to a number the company already booked into a deck. The bears' read is that the comp from here gets harder: Q2 fiscal 2026 was $44 billion, so a $91 billion Q2 fiscal 2027 is still +98 percent year-over-year, but the sequential acceleration the market has been pricing must slow. The shareholder return is where the print becomes a balance-sheet story. Nvidia returned $20 billion to shareholders in Q1 — and added an $80 billion buyback authorization on top of $38.5 billion remaining from the prior one. The quarterly dividend went from $0.01 to $0.25, a 25-times raise. The dividend signal is the institutional one: the company is now telling pension funds and ETF allocators that the capex-cycle cash flow is durable enough to support a recurring distribution. [3] [5]
The market did not reward Wednesday's print. NVDA closed at $223.47 ahead of the call and dipped to $222.12 after-hours. That muted reaction is the tax of greatness, as one trade analysis put it: a company worth roughly $5.4 trillion has to print not just a beat but an evidence point large enough to defend the multiple. [7] What Wednesday produced was the beat; what it did not produce was a new H200 China procurement story, a new sovereign-cloud announcement, or a Rubin-architecture ship date. The stock asked for all three.
The collision between the two prints is the system the paper's Tuesday Glasswing feature flagged. Google cuts the price of AI access to $200 a month for the top consumer tier — and the supplier of the chips that make that access possible books $75.2 billion in one quarter. The two numbers cannot both be the equilibrium. Either the consumer access tier expands fast enough to absorb the capex, or the capex eventually outruns the willingness-to-pay curve, or one of the two companies — the spender or the supplier — eats the difference. The paper's ai-state-power thread has been arguing that the capex print is the priced thesis. Today's two-sided receipt makes that thesis the operating question.
The instrument receipts the paper has been tracking — Daybreak's approval criteria, Glasswing's customer list, Vercel's OAuth remediation, Samsung's NSEU outcome — sit next to today's print as the second layer. None of them moved Wednesday. The capex ceiling and the access price did. What the FTC's TAKE IT DOWN enforcement and Google's Omni deepfake-of-yourself rollout still leave open — the consent and disclosure framework the FTC's day-three enforcement requires — also did not move. Universal Cart shipped with no published disclosure framework. WebMCP shipped as an origin trial with no published consent framework either. The regulator-vs-instrument collision the paper named Tuesday is now a regulator-vs-protocol collision: the protocols shipped before the consent pages.
Meta did not appear at I/O. Microsoft did not publish a public capex update. AWS booked $230 billion of forward AI cloud demand last quarter without a follow-up Wednesday. The four hyperscalers each priced AI capex above $100 billion for 2026; only Google is doing it with a $200 price on the consumer tier and only Nvidia is selling the chips into all four orders at 75 percent gross margin. The spender and the supplier are the same story; today they told it from opposite sides.
